Ban Chang Bars-Sport Bar Ban Chang

The new Sports Bar Ban Chang is opened in February 2012. The "official" opening party is actually the 12th May 2012 (see below).

It was previously Colleens bar and is located at the Ofshore end of the strip. As the name suggests is is themed as a sport and sports bar.

It has become a very popular drinking bar with both local residents and visitors alike. The owner is both friendly and generous - free drink tokens often abound.

Rapidly becoming one of the most popular bars on the strip. Why? Because although it is popular with the local expats they are a very friendly bunch, unlike some of the other "drinking" bars in the area. New visitors are made to feel very welcome and always invited to join the crowd. No cliquey attitude here.

More of a drinking bar but the boss, and staff, are very friendly. Free drinks tokens often seem to be commonplace here, and not just for the regulars.

This is a great, bar. I am a non-drinker, but it doesn't matter to the owner, who is a really nice guy, but
don't tell him, he might get a big head. lol. The staff never ask for drinks, and keep an eye on you in case you need anything. It's a nice place to just sit around and talk to the guys.
