Ship in the Hole Bar Ban Chang
The Ship in the Hole was previously the Outlaw
Saloon.
It is owned and run by one of the former partners in the Camel. As you might expect from that there is an
emphasis on food - and very good it is too!
The menu is small but the portions are BIG, quality is high and the prices are low. Try the fish 'n' chips (with
real home made chips) or the delicious pea and ham soup (huge bowlful). Also the Chili Con Carne bowl is superb
value at 70 baht although i am informed it is "English" style not "American" style.. I am reliably
informed the pies are pretty good too.
It is not one of the busier bars but it is fast getting a growing reputation as an alternative eating spot to
the Camel.

Can't say I'm all that impressed. It's mostly his son & the guys who work for him who drink in there.
