Mam's bar moved to it's NEW location opposite Colleens bar, in one of the new buildings.

This is a friendly bar on the strip whose atmosphere changes with the customers. It has a large area at the front to sit and watch the street. A large airy inside bar with a balcony pool table which is free to play.

The staff and owners like to make people feel comfortable and leave happy, be it after one drink or many. It's a place you can relax after a long day and blow the breeze with your friends or really let yourself go.
There is the usual selection of beer, spirits and wines to cater to most tastes.
Also now a good choice of ciders. And the bars signature drink the 'Special DR Pepper'.

The staff are always friendly and will do their utmost to make you feel welcome. A large selection of music is played here to match the moods, from Blues/Rock/Pop to Dance music. Just ask the staff and they will change the music to suit.

There is a dance pole and disco/laser lights to keep the party going. And the girls are always willing to dance or take pole dancing lessons from the customers making the experience more entertaining and interactive.

The Bar will cater to private parties and functions, just get in touch with Mam or Mark to arrange. They can accommodate large functions as well as smaller gatherings.

They don't serve food, but they do carry the menus from a few of the local eating houses, from Farang food to Thai food and are always willing to order and pick up for you.

One end of the bar has a large TV with both cable and satellite channels, so if you want to catch up on the news or watch the sport, you can. Major sport events can be seen here always.

There are rooms to rent for one night, one week or one month, whatever your requirements. Rooms have TV and Air conditioning. Weekly and monthly rates are negotiable.

They can also advise you on local sites to see or where to go in and around Ban Chang to make your stay a memorable one.

They have contact with local transport with reasonable rates to get you werever you need to go.

SAME, SAME, BUT DIFFERENT

I really liked Mam's across the street, but since they
moved, it is even better. Not the service, or the girls,
or the feeling of being welcome every time you come in,
but it is new, and larger. Mark, and Mam, make me feel
more like a friend, than a customer.

This bar has just moved across the street from Colleens.
Bigger and better bar than before. and still the cheapest drinks on the street, go figure.

Can be quiet sometimes and other times a scream, but always fun.

Gets busier and busier all the time with many girls from the other bars asking for jobs on a daily basis. Now has a dance hour, I think at 9pm but could vary.

The best bar in the Ban Chang strip. Very friendly owners(Mem and Mark), invited me and my friend on their beach trip at Nam Rang? NamBlin?.. hehe can't remember the name.. with free food and drinks... hehehe woohooo!!

Mark and Mem will always take care of you if you happen to get drunk from too much Dr Pepper.. will call the taxi for you, or let you stay for the night.

For a bar that's only been open since January Mam beer bar is definitely head and shoulders above the rest.

Mark and Mam are down to earth, hard working, bar owners treating the staff and customers alike with the utmost respect and hospitality, which is easily the primary reason for their speedy success. Have a drink with Mark or speak to Mam for 5 minutes and you'll see what I mean.

As for the bar itself there's a great atmosphere good company, good music and a large collection of different drinks including their sweet but dangerous Dr Pepper. Anyone heading to the strip should get one down there neck. I honestly don't think i have laughed harder or had a drink in a better bar anywhere UK, Thailand or anywhere else.

In closing friendly and great place to drink but first and foremost truly brilliant owners.
